Fraudulent activity – January 2025
AXA IM would like to warn the public and our clients of possible fraudulent use of AXA IM brand or those pretending to act on behalf of AXA IM on Whatsapp. Please be aware that some individuals created Whatsapp Group using the name of “AXA Horizons VIP88” as title to receive cash for Private Equity investments. For example, some individuals related to this Whatsapp discussion named Joseph Walters and Lsla Carter acts as administrator of this Whatsapp group chat. Please exercise caution before carrying out any investment or funds transfer for which you may be solicited.
Please be aware that these persons and the Whatsapp group are not associated with AXA Investment Managers in any way. Please also note that AXA Investment Managers will never provide investment advice through Whatsapp group chat. If you have been the recipient of a fraudulent request or communication, we strongly advise you to ignore the Whatsapp group chat and/or invitation link to the group chat.
If you are concerned about any potential fraud, please contact AXA IM directly, the relevant government agency and/or your nearest police station. You may email us or forward suspicious invitation links to communication groups to asiacompliance@axa-im.com.
